Bankrupt Stock

What is bankrupt stock

When a manufacturer, wholesaler or retailer goes bankrupt or files for insolvency due to not being able to pay their debts their stock and assets will be auctioned of by the appointed administrator. The time that this process takes is regulated by law so an auction is held to quickly sell their stock and repay as much of their debt as possible.
Bankrupt stock for sale has many advantages to the buyer, cheap prices and bulk buying are just a few.
Auctions will be held onsite or online, all bidders must register and be able to pay the amount plus any buyers premium before they bid. Picking up the item is the buyers responsibly and must be done in the allocated time frame or storage fees may apply.
Bankrupt stock will include everything the bankrupt company owns right down to their office supplies.

Guide to buying used computers at Auction

Buying used computers from auction has its advantages and dis advantages. With technology constantly being upgraded it’s hard and expensive to keep up with it. Used computers sold on Ebay by private sellers usually mean the seller has upgraded and the computer they are selling could be faulty or simply just does not have the memory or hardware needed to operate correctly or at a good working speed. Buying ex lease or computers from insolvency auctions is a safer bet, most of these computers were in good working order and are just being sold because either the lease has expired or the company has declared bankruptcy and their stock and supplies have been put up for auction to recoup money owed to financial lenders or government authorities. You may find that some of these computers are missing their hard drives or the operating system has been wiped to protect the previous owner’s privacy. These can be easily reinstalled at very little cost to the buyer but you must take that into consideration. On a plus you may get extra programs already installed like Office which can save you money. So weather you are looking to upgrade your home office or setting up a new business on a budget it is worth checking out Used Computers at liquidation and insolvency auctions.

What to check for:

Does the computer come with an operating system and how old is it? (Windows)
How much memory (Ram) does it have and is it enough to operate the computer to your needs?
What extra programs are installed on the computer?
What comes with the PC (Keyboard, Monitor)

What is a Liquidation Auction

Bankrupt Stock

Liquidation auctions are the auctioning of goods or assets. These goods may have been seized by government departments or financial lenders in order to reclaim money owed to them.
The bankrupt stock and assets for sale of the suppliers are then auctioned of to the highest bidder, usually if money is owed the repossessed goods will be auctioned in a no reserve auction. This is done to keep auction costs down for the financial lenders and avoids them having to pay out more money for auctioning fees if the goods do not sell due to a high reserve price.

Liquidation Stock Sales

Retailers may have purchased to much stock and just want to get rid of the excess to make room for new inventory. Some will just auction of this stock at below wholesale prices in order to move it.
These wholesale clearance auctions are held either online or at a local auction house. Most of the stock will be sold in bulk lots and not individually. These auctions can be profitable for smaller retailers, online eBay stores or market sellers.
